    Admittedly, sometimes, sharing things is hard because it opens one up to scrutiny.

      I hear what you’re saying, Simone. Sharing ideas can come with a level of scrutiny that might feel uncomfortable. However, it’s interesting to note that academics receive more critical scrutiny of our ideas when they’re in the form of peer-reviewed articles, than anything else you might publish. In my experience, I get more positive feedback from sharing ideas, than I do from people who disagree. It might be worth starting small and building confidence over time.
